Ben Ryan is an American jazz guitarist, piano player, bandleader and composer. He is noted for his technical knowledge, virtuosity and dazzling improvisations. He studied under McCoy Tyner, jazz great, at Antioch College. He has been involved with the development of several patented musical accessories.
Ben has had a long career in the arts and the entertainment industry. These include television and news production at (WYES-TV, KCOY-TV.) Ben's involvement in the industrial arts sector includes pioneering in the computer graphics sector at the General Electric Company - Genigraphics, DOD, and the Northrop Aircraft Corporation
Today he spends his time on the development of new methods for understanding the “big picture” found in music. How music theory and instruments fit together. His writings and Illustrations use visualizations and graphics to illustrate complex concepts, simply.
